Corbin Carroll has undeniably already made a significant impact on the baseball world, capping off a remarkable rookie season that will be remembered as one of the best in MLB history.

From attending the All-Star game in his hometown of Seattle to propelling the Diamondbacks on a journey to the World Series and earning the prestigious Rookie of the Year title, Carroll’s debut is nothing short of extraordinary.

His impressive stat line tells the tale of a standout season – 116 runs, 30 doubles, 10 triples, 54 stolen bases, and an .868 OPS.

Yet, Carroll’s rise may not come as a surprise to those who have been following his career closely. His abilities have been evident since his high school days, where he showcased a taste for the extraordinary.

One memorable instance includes attempting to call time and then promptly launching a home run into the right field bleachers,

During his senior year at Lakeside School in Seattle, Washington, Carroll’s performance included a .540 batting average, nine home runs, and an eye-popping OPS of 1.859.

Originally committed to UCLA, the Diamondbacks ensured they wouldn’t let such talent slip away, ultimately choosing him as the 16th overall pick in the 2019 MLB draft.

Now, under an 8-year, $111 million contract, Carroll stands as a cornerstone for the Diamondbacks, with the promise of his best days lying ahead.
