The Cleveland Guardians wasted no time getting on the scoreboard in their first Spring Training game of the season. Steven Kwan immediately got on base and scored on a past ball.

Then in the second inning, the long ball made an appearance as David Fry hit Cleveland's first home run of 2023. He gave the ball a ride to center field!

Watch the homer here:

Fry is one of the more interesting players in the Guardians' camp. He's yet to make his Big League debut but he lit up the minors last year. Fry finished the season with 17 home runs with 74 RBI.

He may not have a guaranteed spot on the Guardians Big League roster but if he continues to hit home runs such as this one throughout the Spring then he may force his way onto the team.
