Atlanta Braves first baseman Matt Olson has hit a few dingers in his career. He knocked 142 out of the park in six seasons with the Oakland Athletics, and he's raking so far this season for the Braves.
Coming into Tuesday night, he was ranked 15th among all MLB players with 24 home runs, and he added one more to his tally against the New York Mets as Atlanta looks to crawl back to first place in the National League East. At the time of this writing, the Braves are down 4.5 games to the first-place Mets, but they very well could be down 3.5 by the end of the night, and Olson's long-bomb was a huge reason why.
Sure, he's more than likely not going to catch Aaron Judge as MLB's home run king, but if he hits a few more rockets like that, he'll be just as impressive as a slugger.
The ball went 443 feet and left with an exit velocity of 109.3 miles per hour. It would be a goner in every single park across MLB, and it's hardly close.
