Baseball purists are going to have a hard time getting over what just happened in Miami Friday night.

Facing the Marlins and starter Jose Urena with his Atlanta Braves up 4-0 in the fourth, stud youngster Ronald Acuna Jr. teed off on a 398-foot homer. It represented the 13th of the season for him.

But it’s not the homer that had everyone abuzz. Rather, it’s that Acuna legit carried the bat with him about halfway to first before flipping it high in the air.

There’s history here between the two. Acuna obviously took a hit by pitch from Urena last year a bit personal.

In turn, he put up the bat flip to end all bat flips. No word on whether the bat landed before the ball.
