In case you missed it, two-time World Series champion Joc Pederson signed a one-year contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Diamondbacks mark Pederson’s 5th team in five seasons, the others being the Dodgers, Cubs, Braves, and Giants.

While 2023 was technically a down year for Pederson, he still posted a .786 OPS against right-handed pitchers, making him an attractive left-handed bat to have in the lineup. Pederson also hit two home runs in his four games playing at Chase Field last season.

In 2023, the Diamondbacks finished 22nd overall in home runs hit, so Pederson’s explosive bat makes a great fit.
