The last thing the New York Yankees needed during Thursday’s doubleheader against the Detroit Tigers was another injury.

Edwin Encarnacion, Gary Sanchez and J.A. Happ were among the players to go down in what ended up being a sweep of the Tigers in Detroit.

There was another scary incident. Star outfielder Aaron Judge ran into the wall after catching a fly ball. He looked to be a bit injured after the play.

When asked about the injury after the twin bill, Judge had a great reaction.

Judge missed time to injury earlier in the season. He’s among the plethora of Yankees stars who have spent time on the injured list.

The good news? New York is about to get some of its stars back on the field in time for the stretch run of the regular season and the playoffs.

Following their sweep of the Tigers, these Yankees boast a 97-51 record and are 1.5 games ahead of the Houston Astros for the best record in baseball.
