Have you ever wanted to see Kevin Harvick drive for Hendrick Motorsports? Well, you’re about to. Harvick is going to practice for Kyle Larson at North Wilkesboro. Larson is participating in the Indianapolis 500 this season and will not be available to practice for the NASCAR race.

Kevin Harvick is going to jump out of the broadcast booth and into the car. At least for one more practice session. Harvick got the call from Mr. Hendrick and he couldn’t say no. The chance to drive a Hendrick car was too alluring for The Closer to turn it down.

Kyle Larson will be busy qualifying for the Indy 500. So, Harvick will help get the car tuned up and dialed in. Larson won the 2023 All-Star Race in dominating fashion.

There were rumors that maybe Dale Jr. would make an appearance at All-Star Race weekend. Fans were asking for it. However, this feels even cooler than that in many ways. No one ever thought we would see Kevin Harvick in a Hendrick car.

When you are a freshly retired Cup Series champion, you get to do cool stuff. With Larson busy with IndyCar duties and qualifying for the Indy 500, it makes sense to get a backup. Larson likely will miss the heat races but will try and make it work.

After all, he will be bouncing around between Indianapolis and Charlotte before you know it.

Kevin Harvick getting back in the car

I really didn’t think we would ever see Kevin Harvick get back in a Cup car. Now, he isn’t racing and it’s just practice on a short track. Still, it is such a fun and interesting situation for NASCAR fans.

Harvick didn’t have a great time in the All-Star Race last season. This will give him a chance to have fun in the car, work with a new team, and then he gets to hop in the booth and avoid the drama of the race. A win-win in the best way possible.

My question, will we see Harvick get a HendrickCars.com firesuit? Because that would take this to the next level, to be honest. From Richard Childress Racing to Stewart-Haas and now Hendrick Motorsports.

Is there any way that we can get Kevin Harvick into a Joe Gibbs car? Like the Thanos collecting Infinity Stones, Harvick is collecting firesuits with new teams, apparently.
