This week, Stewart-Haas Racing has been hard at work telling everyone that things are different and reminding NASCAR fans who they are. While the 2023 season didn’t go as planned, the folks at SHR are ready to get going in 2024. That includes a new logo.

Earlier on Sunday, Stewart-Haas Racing posted a video teasing a rebrand of some sort. They showed off that old powder blue logo with the script writing. It is a classic logo, one that many fans have come to love.

However, it appears that they are going a different route. The blue is going to stay, but the logo is getting a modern, slick update.

A photo has been going around online that appears to be Chase Briscoe’s hauler. On the back of the hauler, you can see what appears to be the new logo for Stewart-Haas.

The photo appeared to originate on Reddit. However, it has made its way around social media since then. A more simple logo, one that might even drop “Racing” completely.

Stewart-Haas has been making a point that they are a bunch of “racers” who are out there for the passion of the sport, nothing else. This new logo is a sign of things to come and a new Stewart-Haas in the post-Kevin Harvick era.

A new Stewart-Haas Racing in 2024

No Kevin Harvick, no Aric Almirola. No Busch Light, no Smithfield Bacon. That’s the reality for Stewart-Haas Racing right now in 2024. However, there is a little bit of hope. The new Mustang Dark Horse should be a positive change for all of the Fords.

The hope is that Noah Gragson and Josh Berry can be competitive in their new roles. If Berry can’t keep up with the other rookies in the Cup Series, then things might be bad at SHR again.

Then, there is the duo of Ryan Preece and Chase Briscoe. Those two should be able to step up into leadership positions on the team. Part of that has to do with performance on the track. If we don’t see a clear leader within the organization, again, things might not go all that well.

Stewart-Haas Racing has the talent behind the wheel – can they get it done in the shop week to week, though? That is a huge question and one we won’t know the answer to until we see some races this year.

New logo, different results?
