The Memphis Grizzlies vs. Minnesota Timberwolves series has been arguably the most exciting series in the first round. Both young teams led by young superstars have been going at it and the series is tied at 2-2 after the first 4 games. There are narratives aplenty to follow, Karl Anthony-Towns' early struggles, Ja Morant taking shots at the T'Wolves after Game 3, but there is one particularly odd situation that keeps arising for Minnesota.

Fans have been trying to make statements by getting on to the floor in Minnesota home games throughout the postseason. A fan glued themselves to the court during the play-in game against the Clippers and during Game 4 on Saturday night, another fan tried to get on to the court. They were stopped swiftly by security though, in what was another bizarre incident.

The fan tried jumping in from the second row of seats but was immediately intercepted by security, who tackled them to the ground and subsequently dragged them away. This seems to be a continuation of the protests against the Minnesota Timberwolves owner, Glen Taylor, who has seemingly earned the ire of animal rights activists in the city.

If there was a larger demonstration or not is something we will never know, thanks to the prompt response from security, who from another camera angle, can be seen watching the fan before they even made their move to jump onto the floor.

NBA games, especially during the playoffs, are huge spectacles with a lot of viewership, so if this indeed was a protest, it is understandable why this fan would choose to do it during a massive, close playoff game. However, people getting on the court like this can be extremely dangerous for the players, which is why the prompt reaction of security is commendable, and hopefully, deters further fans from deciding to create a scene in the middle of a game.
