All injured Celtics, Heat players expected to play in Game 7

A spot in the 2022 NBA Finals is on the line on Sunday night, as the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat square off. All players on both sides who had come into the contest listed as questionable are reportedly available to play.

On the Miami side, their injury report coming into their biggest game of the year includes Kyle Lowry (hamstring), Max Strus (hamstring), P.J. Tucker (knee), Gabe Tucker (hamstring) and Sixth Man of the Year Tyler Herro (groin). For visiting Boston, their players listed as questionable included Robert Williams (knee) and Defensive Player of the Year Marcus Smart (ankle).

Herro is third on the Heat in scoring during the playoffs at 13.5 points per game, while Lowry has averaged a team-high 4.9 assists per game in his nine postseason contests. Smart is first on the team in assists per game this postseason at 6.3 and third in scoring at 14.9 points, while Williams paces the team at 2.1 blocks per contest.

The last time Boston made the NBA Finals was in 2010, when they fell to the rival Los Angeles Lakers in seven games. Meanwhile, Miami lost in the NBA "bubble" during the 2020 Finals against the Lakers. The winner of Sunday night's game will take on the Golden State Warriors.
