Blazers' Damian Lillard to play in Game 3 vs. Lakers with dislocated finger

Per ESPN , Portland Trail Blazers coach Terry Stotts confirmed while speaking with reporters on Friday that guard Damian Lillard will play versus the Los Angeles Lakers for Saturday's Game 3 showdown with the opening-round series tied at one game apiece.

Lillard dislocated his left index finger during the third quarter of Thursday's Game 2 that Los Angeles dominated en route to a 111-88 victory to even the series:

Despite the setback, the 30-year-old defiantly declared he wasn't missing Saturday's contest. "Oh, I'm playing," he told media members on Thursday evening.

Lillard led all scorers with 34 points in Portland's surprising 100-93 upset of the Lakers on Tuesday. He's expected to wear a splint on Saturday and, likely, throughout the remainder of the series.
