Brad Stevens, who rarely shows much emotion, seems to want to preserve that reputation.

The Boston Celtics head coach had an incident during Sunday’s win over the New York Knicks during which lip-readers caught him appearing to curse on a failed coach’s challenge. Take a look at the video here.

On Tuesday, Stevens had a funny reply when confronted about the footage.

“That was digitally edited,” he joked, per Jay King of The Athletic.

Despite his lack of success on coach’s challenges, Stevens has still led to the Celtics to a sparkling 14-5 record on the season.

The 43-year-old’s colorful language has surprised his players before, so he will try to keep that side of himself under wraps if possible.
