The Milwaukee Bucks have signed guard Jeff Teague, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Teague averaged 6.9 points and 2.1 assists in 18.1 minutes in 34 games with the Boston Celtics this season. The veteran guard was dealt to the Orlando Magic in the Evan Fournier trade but was waived a couple of days later.

Teague should figure to provide great scoring and playmaking at the guard position and effectively replace DJ Augustin, as the Bucks dealt him away to the Houston Rockets in the PJ Tucker trade.

Although it’s a relatively small sample size, Teague is shooting his catch-and-shoot threes at a near 45 percent clip. Anytime Giannis Antetokounmpo comes steamrolling down the paint, it’s always a good thing to have good 3-point shooting surrounding him.
