We’re still less than 10 games into the 2026-27 NBA season, but we’ve got an early-season marquee matchup between a pair of one-loss teams with the Philadelphia 76ers heading to Detroit to take on the Pistons.

The Pistons finished with the best record in the Eastern Conference last season and have a chance to move into first place once again if they beat Philly on Wednesday night.

One reason for Detroit’s hot start is franchise cornerstone Cade Cunningham, who is averaging 23.7 points-per-game this year and dropped 33 on the Charlotte Hornets in their most recent win. In the first matchup between Philly and Detroit earlier this season, the former No.1-overall NBA Draft pick stuffed the stat sheet with 26 points, eight assists and eight rebounds, adding two steals and two blocks in the 106-93 victory on Oct. 25.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. While the Pistons lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals last season, Cunningham set the Pistons single-playoff-game scoring record when he poured in 45 against Orlando in the First Round.
