A Chicago Bulls fan was ejected from the United Center during Tuesday night’s game seemingly for displaying a jersey that called for firings of the organization’s front office heads.

Footage has surfaced of a fan seated a ways behind one of the baskets during Tuesday’s 126-114 loss to the Washington Wizards being approached by arena security.

Holding up a “FireGarPax” jersey — in reference to embattled general manager Gar Forman and much-maligned vice president of basketball operations John Paxson — above his head, the fan appears to be ordered to leave the arena by the security officer.

The “FireGarPax” movement has been simmering in Chicago for some time now. There is a website, a popular hashtag on Twitter and a Facebook page. A recently launched GoFundMe page only further establishes the disconnect between fans and the front office.

The evidence of Bulls fans’ vitriolic unhappiness over the myriad missteps throughout the tenure of the Forman and Paxson regime could be seen all around town for years now. In fact, a billboard all the way back in 2017 was erected in Chi-Town calling for the ouster of Forman and Paxson.

The Bulls of course are again mired in yet another disappointing campaign this season. At 19-36, the front office headed by Forman and Paxson are preparing for another go-round in the draft lottery as opposed to bolstering a roster for a postseason push.

As the fan’s jersey and the above-mentioned evidence suggests, FireGarPax, indeed.
