Kobe Bryant was an all-time great during his stint in the NBA. There is no doubt that Kobe was one of the greatest players in NBA history. And became the most popular player in the league in the years after Jordan’s final departure from the NBA. During his 20 year career in the league, Kobe played with several NBA players in the league.

And one of those teammates had their family recreate some iconic moments between himself and Kobe for him. Former NBA star Caron Butler took to Twitter to share pictures of his two daughters, wearing Los Angeles Lakers jerseys of himself and Kobe Bryant, as they recreated some of the best moments between the two stars.

It was a truly heartwarming gesture by Butler’s family members. Butler only played with Kobe Bryant for 1 season, the first year where Kobe was the solo star for the Lakers after the departure of Shaquille O’Neal. Despite their short time with each other, it is clear that Kobe had a massive impact on Butler’s career and his life.

He and Caron seemed to have a close relationship during their time together, and even after. Butler recently revealed that Kobe once had everyone at his house party kicked out so his security staff could run a check

After leaving the Lakers, Butler joined the Wizards, where he truly came into his own. He became a 2-time NBA All-Star. And in 2011, he was playing for the Mavericks as they went on to defeat defending champions Kobe and the Lakers to win the NBA championship against the Miami Heat.

As for Kobe, he went on to win the NBA championship twice in 2009 and 2010. And while he was considered the second option with Shaq in the squad, he was really close to him in output when you compare them. And he became the natural first option after Shaq's departure in 2004.

No one can deny how impactful the opportunity to play with Kobe must have been. Playing one of the best players to ever take to the court would have been an incredible time, and many players were lucky enough to get that chance. And clearly, the one season playing with Kobe Bryant was a massive opportunity for Caron Butler.
