The NBA Champions finally play basketball again; the Denver Nuggets will be making their preseason debut against the loaded Phoenix Suns.

The Denver Nuggets have four players listed on their injury report. Christian Braun is day-to-day and was limited in Monday's practice due to a calf injury, Jamal Murray is day-to-day and was limited in Monday's practice due to a hamstring injury, Michael Porter Jr. is unlikely to play against the Phoenix Suns, and Vlatko Cancar is out indefinitely due to surgery on his left knee.

The Phoenix Suns have three players listed on their injury report. Ish Wainright won't play against the Nuggets due to a calf injury, Jordan Goodwin is out against the Nuggets due to a hamstring injury, and Damion Lee is out due to a right knee injury. It's worth noting that the Suns don't have any of their big three currently out for tonight's game, so expect to see Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal all on the court for the first time ever together.

While tonight's game is just a preseason matchup, it's definitely going to be a matchup to watch during the regular season. Both of these teams are Western Conference favorites entering the season, and the path to an NBA Championship will likely go through one of these teams.

The Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns tipoff at 7:00 PM PST tonight.
