On Tuesday evening, the Houston Rockets are in Dallas, facing off against Luka Doncic and the Mavericks. 

During the game, Dillon Brooks made NBA history by becoming the 327th  player to make 600 career three-pointers. 

Brooks came into the evening with averages of 13.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 47.1% from the field and 46.4% from the three-point range in 14 games. 

The Rockets are 8-6 in their first 14 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Western Conference. 

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and most recently beat the Denver Nuggets by a score of 105-86. 

In 30 minutes of playing time, Brooks had eight points, one rebound and two assists while shooting 2/8 from the field and 2/3 from the three-point range. 

Brooks was the 45th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft out of Oregon and is in his seventh season in the league. 

After spending the first six seasons of his career with the Memphis Grizzlies, he signed with Houston over the offseason. 

Following the Mavs, the Rockets will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets in Denver. 

Over 359 regular season games, Brooks has career averages of 14.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest while shooting 41.7% from the field and 34.6% from the three-point range. 

He also helped lead the Grizzlies to the NBA playoffs three times and has appeared in 22 playoff games.
