Donovan Mitchell removes 'Utah Jazz Guard' from Twitter bio, prompting trade speculation
Coveted All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell either knows something that most NBA fans and analysts don't, or he made a simple edit on his Twitter bio for a good troll job on Tuesday.
As the offseason winds down, the Utah Jazz standout remains arguably the biggest name on the trade market. The Cleveland Cavaliers reportedly "removed themselves" from the Mitchell sweepstakes last week, and despite the recent contract extension for New York Knicks youngster RJ Barrett, it seems like they might still be the most likely landing spot for the 25-year-old.
Both SNY's Ian Begley and ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski mentioned recently that the Knicks are probably still the frontrunner, should "Spida" be moved.
Mitchell averaged 25.9 points, a career-high 5.3 assists, 4.2 rebounds and a career-high 1.5 steals last season. Among the other teams who have been in the mix to acquire him this summer have been the Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors.
