Draymond Green shows Victor Wembanyama, Thompson twins some love with trolling

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is impressed with a trio of NBA rookies and made sure to show them some love with a bit of light-hearted trolling following the team's most recent game. Specifically, Green gave a bit of a shoutout to Victor Wembanyama and the Thompson twins, Amen and Ausar, for their play through the early stages of the 2023-24 NBA season.

The eight-time All-NBA Defensive team selection (four first team, four second team), highlighted the level of defense the trio is playing while joking that they're also making it tougher on him to make All-Defensive teams.

"I feel a way about the Thompson twins and Wemby because those guys are making it much harder for me to continue to make All-Defensive teams," Green told NBC Sports Bay Area.

Green has cemented his spot as one of the best defensive players in the NBA, while also being named to four NBA All-Star games and of course, winning four titles with the Warriors.

All three rookies have made an impact in numerous ways defensively, highlighted by the San Antonio Spurs' No. 1 overall pick — towering and athletic 7-foot-5 Wembanyama, who's averaged 2.6 blocks and 1.3 steals through his first seven NBA games.

Detroit Pistons forward Ausar Thompson, who was selected No. 5 overall, has averaged 1.9 blocks and 1.5 steals on the defensive end through eight games. His brother, Amen, who went No. 4 overall, has played in four games thus far but is on a Houston Rockets roster that loaded up its depth this offseason, so he's averaged just 16.8 minutes per game.
