Dwyane Wade defended his former teammate Chris Bosh in a recent edition of TNT’s ‘Inside the NBA’, where the crew was talking about New York Knicks star Julius Randle in relation to the former Miami Heat player.

When talking about Randle, Wade praised the former Los Angeles Lakers player but made it clear that he wasn’t at the same level as Bosh.

Flash was quick to play down those comparisons, explaining that Bosh did a lot more than Randle during the first years of his career.

“So you can call me biased, but here is the thing with Chris Bosh. I love Julius Randle, a big fan of Julius Randle. When you go look at the numbers, the last three years Julius Randle has been putting up Chris Bosh-like numbers. Let’s say around 22 and 10 or 20 and 10. Chris Bosh did that for five years in Toronto, making the All-Star Game at 21 years old, doing 22 and 10 for five years in his career, and then, that’s one act he had in his career. The next act, he had six All-Star appearances in Miami, playing with the likes of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. Being able to win championships doing it, win two championships, so a guy that’s seven-year in the NBA, that’s made one All-Star Game, that’s really trying to build his career, that’s unfair to him. And it’s unfair to Chris Bosh because he’s one of the legends in the game. Just because he wasn’t loud, just because he wasn’t fancy, does not mean he’s not a great player.”

Bosh really was great in his NBA career, which could have been longer than it was, if not for some serious health issues. The big man was the third star in the Heat 'Big Three' and even LeBron James stated more than once that the key for that team’s success was Bosh and all the work he did that was unnoticed most of the time.

Sharing the spotlight with two megastars like Bron and Wade perhaps changed the perspective that people had about him but there is no doubt that this player was something else and he demonstrated that night in and night out.
