The Athletic's John Hollinger offered up an NBA player comparison for Bronny James that, all things considered, doesn't reflect well for LeBron's son.

Hollinger compared Bronny to Orlando Magic guard Gary Harris -- a solid, but unspectacular, journeyman role player.

Harris himself is a solid NBA player, spending a few years in Denver as a key 3&D piece, recording multiple 40% three-point shooting seasons while operating as their primary point-of-attack defender.

Physically, the comparison is sound, with both guards being around 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds. Harris is worse with the ball in his hands than James, however, offering little ability off the catch, dribble, or as a playmaker. That said, while Bronny offers a higher ceiling, his floor is probably also lower, as he's less established as a shooter and there's no guarantee his game necessarily translates to the next level.

The comparison doesn't reflect well given the potential many thought Bronny had, as his extensive media coverage posited the notion that he could be a lottery pick – if not an upper-half lottery pick.

Recovering from cardiac arrest, he's likely still taking time to get adjusted to the college game, and his physical tools that should translate to the NBA level are undeniable.

The Draft Combine will be a great way to really get a gauge on him, as he'll have a couple of months following the season's end to get his health in order prior to showcasing what he's capable of on the grandest stage.
