Former Phoenix Suns guard Terrence Ross is hanging it up.

"I think now that especially some time has passed... I think I'm done. I think I got all the basketball out of me," Ross announced on his podcast:

Ross first entered the league as the No. 8 pick in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors. He spent the first years of his career there before being traded in the middle of the 2016-17 season to the Orlando Magic, where he remained until last season until he was bought-out from his contract, released and signed with Phoenix hoping to win a ring.

Ross didn't play much as a bench player, though he wasn't disappointing when he did appear on the court.

Ross hit free agency this summer and didn't find a home. With the NBA regular season fully underway, Ross felt like now was the time to call it quits.

In 733 career games, Ross averaged 11 points per night on 41% shooting with 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. He also won the 2013 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.

The Suns are currently 11-8 on the season and play host to the Memphis Grizzlies later tonight.
