Kemba Walker is still making more than $36 million this season despite getting waived off by the Detroit Pistons.
The NBA is one of the richest sports leagues in the world. NBA players take home millions of dollars in salaries each season. With each passing year, the salaries of players are skyrocketing, but at the end of the day, they have worked hard to earn that money.
One such player who secured a huge contract with the Charlotte Hornets was Kemba Walker. At the time, Walker was in the prime of his career and enjoyed a great spell with the Hornets. The Pistons had no interest in keeping an aging guard on the roster, and as a result, the veteran point guard was once again waived off.
