After the Golden State Warriors handled their business with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers, Stephen Curry went on to swap jerseys . Turns out, the jersey he received was from no other than tennis legend Novak Djokovic.

In that particular game against a LeBron James-led Lakers team , Curry dropped 31 points on 50 percent shooting from the field, six rebounds, and five assists. Klay Thompson played well from the bench by getting 26 points, while Draymond Green added six points, 12 rebounds, and 13 assists.

Even though the Lakers lost 128-121, James had a monster game by dropping 40 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists. Unfortunately, a challenge to an out-of-bounds play not only led the game to be delayed for over 20 minutes, it also rescinded a prior corner three-pointer by the King, leading to a loss of points for Los Angeles.

In the end, the Warriors’ win helped them secure the ninth spot in the West as the team’s record rose to 35 wins and 31 losses. The Lakers, meanwhile, is in 10th place with a 36-32 record.

Golden State Warriors Star Stephen Curry’s GOAT Jersey Swap With Tennis Legend Novak Djokovic

After the game, Curry met up with Djokovic on the court and swapped jerseys with the tennis legend. This moment can be seen in a video posted by NBA on its official X account:

At this point in time, Djokovic is ranked first in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals. He has won 24 Grand Slam men’s single titles, setting the record in the process. All in all, he has won 98 singles titles, including 24 majors, 40 masters, and seven ATP Finals.

Of course, Curry is no slouch either with two MVPs, one Finals MVP, and four championships. In any case, this jersey swap is a testament to the incredible careers these two have built.
