The Knicks are leading the series 2-1 despite 76ers’ triumph in Game 3 by a score of 125-114. Joel Embiid was oustanding with his 50-point performance for the Philadelphia side, while Jalen Brunson made a double-double in New York, adding 39 points and 13 assists.

Philadelphia (47-35) wants to tie the series at home, a condition in which they compiled a record of 25-16 in the regular season. In the first two games of this round, the 76ers ended a streak of nine consecutive wins which includes the victory over the Miami Heat in the Play-In.

New York (50-32) finished the regular season in second place in the East, with a record of 23-18 playing away from home. The Knicks have a balance of 35-17 in games against teams from their conference and this will be the third postseason in the last four years for the New York team. Today they will seek to surprise the 76ers to finish off the series next Tuesday in the return to Madison Square Garden.
