Infamous NBA bust calls out Grizzlies' Ja Morant

Infamous former No. 1 overall pick Kwame Brown took to social media recently to blast Memphis Grizzlies troubled point guard Ja Morant.

The Grizzlies announced on Sunday that they had suspended the 2020 Rookie of the Year indefinitely from all team activities following the posting of an Instagram video where Morant is seen in the passenger seat of a car appearing to briefly brandish a gun.

The latest incident comes two months after Morant's first suspension during the 2022-23 season following another video that showed the 23-year-old holding a gun in a crowded Colorado nightclub. The two-time All-Star later apologized and said he was going to take time away from the game to better learn how to deal with stress.

Brown is arguably the biggest NBA draft bust in league history.

The now-41-year-old was selected first overall out of high school by the Washington Wizards in 2001 and while his career lasted 12 seasons, he never lived up to the hype. Brown averaged 6.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 22.1 minutes per game across 607 career regular season contests (281 starts), while playing for seven different teams.
