On Friday evening, the Denver Nuggets faced off against the San Antonio Spurs in Texas. 

The Nuggets got off to an excellent start to the game and won the first quarter by a score for 37-18. 

They ultimately defeated the Spurs (117-106), and two-time MVP Nikola Jokic led the way with 31 points. 

Jamal Murray finished his night with 15 points, ten rebounds, seven assists and three steals while shooting 6/16 from the field and 1/2 from the three-point range in 34 minutes of playing time. 

The former Kentucky star also made team history by scoring his 8,000th career point.
