The Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 122-105 back on Feb. 14.

Afterward, Murray agreed to take part in a postgame interview without knowing who would be on the other side of the broadcast.

Initially, Murray was asked by the person on the other end whether he could hear him.

“Yes sir, yes sir,” Murray said.

“Don’t you dare ‘yes sir’ me ever again,” Jefferson replied.

Murray’s reaction to that was priceless:

Later on, even Murray had a laugh over the exchange.

Jefferson has become something of a media mainstay ever since his retirement. Whether he’s joking it up with Murray, coaxing Kyrie Irving hate out of LeBron James or mocking Giannis Antetokounmpo for being a scared defender, Jefferson stays being a character.
