James Harden feeling 'fine,' considering traveling with Russell Westbrook to Orlando

The Houston Rockets faced some tough news earlier this week when Russell Westbrook revealed he had tested positive for coronavirus, but fortunately, their other superstar is doing well and is ready to head into the Orlando bubble.

"James Harden is feeling fine. He has been working out to make sure he stays in shape," The Athletic's Shams Charania said on Tuesday . "He may travel with Russell Westbrook to Orlando once Westbrook clears from the coronavirus."

Harden is absolutely essential to the Rockets' title hopes, as he is leading the NBA in scoring for the third straight season. He is determined to finally win his first championship, and rumors have abounded that the star has been working tirelessly to stay in shape during the pandemic in order to be ready for when the season resumes.

But if the Rockets hope to compete for a title, they will certainly need a healthy Westbrook on their roster, as he has become a massive part of the offense since being traded to the team last summer. In his first season with the team, he scored 27.5 points, eight rebounds and seven assists per game.

Westbrook was planning to head to Orlando this week along with the rest of the Rockets' roster, but he will now need to quarantine until he is cleared and approved to enter the bubble. The NBA is set to resume on July 30, with the Rockets among the teams expected to be fighting for a better playoff position before the postseason begins.
