James Harden out Wednesday vs. Nuggets with hamstring

The Nets were already without two of their star players going into Wednesday night's game against the Nuggets, but now it looks like they'll be without all three.

James Harden was ruled out of Brooklyn's evening tilt against Denver with left hamstring tightness, per reports. Kevin Durant is still out with a knee injury and Kyrie Irving cannot play due to local vaccination restrictions in New York.

Harden is averaging 23 points, 8.1 rebounds and 10.1 assists per game this season, his first full year with the Nets. His scoring numbers are down with Brooklyn compared to when the former MVP was with Houston, but his assists are up and he has been taking less shots per game while playing next to Durant and Irving.

Earlier this week, Bleacher Report's Jake Fischer reported that Harden is frustrated with several aspects of his experience in Brooklyn, including Irving's part-time status, coach Steve Nash's rotations, and even just life living in New York. Fischer reported that league sources informed him that Harden may have "interest in exploring other opportunities outside of Brooklyn this summer."
