Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic makes NBA, team history with barrage of 3-pointers

In over 33 minutes of play on Sunday, Utah Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic took only one field goal attempt from two-point range and it was a miss. The 32-year-old made both of his free throw attempts during Utah's victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, but where he made his biggest impact was from beyond the arc.

Bogdanovic made both NBA and franchise history with his own personal three-point shooting contest, leading the Jazz to the 116-103 decision.

Though Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert are widely considered the two biggest stars on the Utah roster, Bogdanovic is arguably their best shooter. The eighth-year pro is a career 39% three-point shooter and made over 40% of his attempts from distance in three straight seasons from 2017-2018 to 2019-2020.

During the 2018-2019 campaign, Bogdanovic finished 10th in the NBA in three-point field goal percentage when he finished at a career-best 42.5%. Sunday's outburst was Bogdanovic's first time hitting double-figures in three-point makes.

His previous career-high was eight connections, which he has accomplished multiple times, most recently on May 7, 2021, when he also scored a career-best 48 points.
