Knicks star RJ Barrett guarantees Game 5 win against Hawks

The Knicks need a Game 5 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night to keep their season alive, and RJ Barrett is guaranteeing a New York victory.

Barrett was asked how he'll view the season if the Knicks are tossed from the first round on Wednesday.

He replied: "Why you gotta be so negative? I ain't thinking about that."

New York has never overcome a 3-1 series deficit, but Barrett believes that will change this season.

The Knicks had two rough outings in Atlanta, losing Game 3 105-94 and Game 4 113-96. To win Game 5, Barrett and Co. will have to be on their game. They'll also have to limit Trae Young, which is no easy task.

Barrett is averaging 13.8 points and 7.3 rebounds against the Hawks, but his shooting needs to be better as he's averaging 39.7% overall and 27% from deep.
