LeBron James, Drake in attendance for Bronny James' Sierra Canyon season debut

A red carpet should have been rolled out for Friday's CIF Southern Open Division final between the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers and the Corona Centennial Huskies.

LeBron James, multiplatinum rapper Drake, JR Smith and Jared Dudley were in attendance as Bronny James, LeBron's oldest son, made his sophomore season debut for the Trailblazers.

Bronny suffered a torn meniscus in February that caused him to miss most of the season. He finished Friday's game with seven points.

Sierra Canyon hadn't played any official games in the fall due to the COVID-19 pandemic but completed a spring season. They lost Friday's game 80-72, their first defeat of the season.
