LeBron James sends powerful message to Rich Paul doubters

Superagent Rich Paul – and his clients – had a big first day of NBA free agency and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James let the world know it.

After several players signed to Klutch Sports Group agreed to lucrative deals on the open market Friday, James tweeted a powerful message to those who might doubt the empire Paul has built.

"And y'all still wanna question Rich Paul is the H.I.M," James tweeted. "It says a lot about you if you not feeling us. I told him less is more it's plenty of us."

Only hours after free agency opened at 6 p.m. est., three of Paul's clients alone amassed deals worth a combined $390 million. Among the players to grab the bag Friday, Draymond Green (Golden State Warriors, four years, $100 million), Fred VanVleet (Houston Rockets, three years, $130 million) and Jerami Grant (five years, $160 million).

Among the most lucrative deals handed out on Friday, only a handful were agreed to by players outside the Klutch family. Paul represented half of the six players who came to terms on contracts worth $100 million or more. The three outliers were Kyrie Irving (Dallas Mavericks, three years, $126 million), Kyle Kuzma (four years, $102 million) and Khris Middleton (Milwaukee Bucks, $102 million).

After an insane Day 1, most upper-tier free agents found new homes or agreed to deals to stay put. However, entering Day 2 Saturday, several notable names remain unsigned, including Dwight Powell, Dillon Brooks, Brook Lopez and D'Angelo Russell.
