Milwaukee Bucks 2022-23 betting guide

We started the first team Betting Guide with Boston because the Celtics are at the top of of the odds table to win the title.

Next up are the Milwaukee Bucks. There is no argument there. The Bucks won the title two years ago and with Giannis in his prime, there is no reason to think they can't win it all again this season.

This is one of the best teams in the league.

Milwaukee Bucks

2021-22 Record: 51-31
2021-22 ATS Record: 39-43
2021-22 O/U Record: 43-39

2021-22 Year In Review

Milwaukee won the Central Division last year, but that was to be expected. Next, they took care of business with a 4-1 series win against Chicago in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. In the next round, Milwaukee took on Boston but with Khris Middleton out, they came up short, losing in Game 7. Given they were the defending champs and Middleton was a big part of that title team there is a lot of what-if for the Bucks after the way last season ended. They got a lot more out of Jrue Holiday during the regular season last year and that trio is still elite.

2022-23 Milwaukee Bucks Futures

Central Division: -260
Eastern Conference: +320
NBA Title: +650

The Bucks are running it back with the same group they had a year ago, in fact, most of the team was on the championship team a couple of years ago as well. They are in the same roles too as Giannis, Middleton and Holiday are all in their prime. One change we might see this season is a little more from forward Serge Ibaka, they got him during the season last year but never really got much out of him. He can be a good role-playing big man.

During the regular season, I think we can expect more of the same from the Bucks. Some nights they are going to just destroy teams and there will be some nights where the 3-pointers are not falling and they look pretty ordinary. Giannis has become one of the best closers in the game and Middleton and Holiday are pretty good with that too. The Bucks have an amazing ability to close the gap on teams when they are motivated. They are a great team to back in any situation where they are underdog because they are truly never out of a game and arguably have the best player on the floor.

Milwaukee Bucks - Bet To Consider

Bucks to Win NBA Title +650

The league is pretty balanced this season but it might still be a little easier to come out of the East than the West. Milwaukee might be on cruise control during the regular season and there is no value in backing them to win the Central at that price. Taking them to win the title is good value right now though and it is probably only going to go down as the season progresses (unless there is an injury). Of the 3 top contenders in the East (Celtics, Bucks, Nets) they are definitely the play. Giannis grabbing the MVP is not a bad play either but we have seen that before.
