NBA announces two players test positive for coronavirus in Florida
Two out of 322 NBA players tested for the coronavirus at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida returned positive results.
Marc Stein of the New York Times confirmed the news via Twitter:
Stein added that the league wrote in a statement: "Those players never cleared quarantine and have since left the campus to isolate at home or in isolation housing." That indicates the players didn't carry the coronavirus into the bubble and hopefully haven't infected teammates, coaches, or other personnel.
Earlier on Monday, one-time NBA Most Valuable Player Russell Westbrook confirmed he tested positive for the coronavirus before the Houston Rockets guard flew to Orlando.
