NBA fans are kicking LeBron James now that Kyrie Irving is headed to Dallas instead of Los Angeles.

Kyrie Irving has made the NBA world go crazy in the past 48 hours, surprising everybody when he requested a trade out of the Brooklyn Nets. This situation sparked a lot of rumors around the league, and plenty of teams started working on getting a deal done with the Brooklynites.

Among those teams, the Los Angeles Lakers appeared to be clear-cut favorites to land Kyrie given the reported interest of Kyrie in reuniting with LeBron James, and the Lakers need to add a player like Irving to their roster.

More teams like the Phoenix Suns, Miami Heat, and even the Los Angeles Clippers were linked with a move for Kyrie, but in the end, the Dallas Mavericks pulled off a big move and traded for the 2016 NBA champion.

LeBron James Can't Reunite With Kyrie Irving On Lakers

This is a great move for the Mavs, who were urged to give Luka Doncic the help he needs to compete for a championship, and if Kyrie stays out of trouble, the Texan team will be a threat in the stacked Western Conference.

While it was a great move for the Mavs, it was terrible for the Lakers and LeBron James. Following the news, Legion Hoops shared a hilarious tweet speculating about LeBron's reaction once he learned about the Kyrie trade. As usual, more fans joined the party, going off on the King.

The Lakers still have work to do before the trade deadline, as they have other options to do business ahead of the big date. They could send Russell Westbrook to the Utah Jazz in exchange for three players, but many people doubt that would do it for them. The Purple and Gold needed Kyrie, but the Nets decided to take a different route, helping the Mavs create a terrific backcourt with Kyrie and Luka Doncic that will make a lot of noise around the league.
