Lamar Odom has gone through a lot over the course of his 14-year NBA career, and even more after his stint in the league. But after those hurdles and victories, the former champion will soon find himself hosting a new sports podcast with Caitlyn Jenner.

Odom first entered the league as the Los Angeles Clippers fourth-overall pick in the 1999 Draft. From there, the 6’10” power forward caught everyone’s attention by posting efficient numbers of 12.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.

After spending a single season playing for the Miami Heat, Odom was part of a package sent to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2004 for Shaquille O’Neal. He would go on to play seven seasons for the Purple and Gold, with averages of 13.7 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per contest.

Odom’s peak in the NBA occurred when the Kobe Bryant-led Lakers captured a pair of back-to-back championships in 2009 and 2010. During that period, he would go on to be one of the league’s best reserve players, which was validated in 2011 when he won the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year award.

Unfortunately, Odom suffered a series of terrible incidents after he became inactive from the NBA. Among the issues he was caught up in were getting divorced from Khloe Kardashian, getting arrested for various DUI cases, and suffering a kidney failure, among others.

Former NBA Champion Lamar Odom and Caitlyn Jenner To Host New Sports Podcast

Years after those incidents, Odom has finally gotten his life back on track. Proof of his recovery from the dark days is how he and his former in-law, Caitlyn Jenner, have reunited to host Keeping Up with Sports, a podcast revolving around sports-centric topics.

According to an exclusive article by TMZ , Odom and Jenner will be joined Zach Hirsch in the first episode of the show. The trio will have Sugar Ray Leonard as their first guest in the podcast’s launch.

Apart from talking about sports, fans will be interested to see how the dynamic between Odom and Jenner is going to be. This comes after the two spent considerable time in the past due to the former’s marriage to Khloe Kardashian.

Some of the guests that will are slated to appear in the podcast are Bryce Hall, Seth Davis, and Zab Judah, among others. Keeping Up with Sports is now available on all major audio platforms, such as Spotify and Apple.
