NBA legend betting big on 'Ant-Man'

Former No. 1 overall pick Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves has quickly found his footing in the NBA, evolving into a star. Could he take the next step and become a superstar?

Hall of Famer and NBA legend Kevin Garnett believes he will.

"I'm betting on Ant-Man this year," the former NBA champion said, via Clutch Points, adding Edwards is just on a "different level."

Last season, the shooting guard averaged career highs across the board, dropping 24.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game and shooting 45.9 percent from the field and 36.9 from three.

Defensively, he's no slouch. His wide frame and quick feet make him a perfect point-of-attack defender. Combine that with his athletic ability and bounce and he could easily transform into one of the league's better all-around defenders.

Most impressively, Edwards has missed only 13 games in his entire NBA career (223/236 -- 94.4%)! In the modern NBA, it's easily one of the most impressive aspects of his all-around game.

Only 22, Edwards still has room to grow and evolve. For him, the sky is the limit. He could soon ascend to NBA superstardom.
