There is no question that coming into the league, Kyle Kuzma was viewed as a talented offensive player. He averaged 18.7 PPG during the 2018-19 season, and there were many who thought he would be able to become the Los Angeles Lakers' third option behind LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

However, things have not gone as planned for Kuzma, as he has had to take a step amidst the other additions to the roster. Of course, Kyle Kuzma is now an NBA champion, but he has a smaller role offensively now than earlier in his career. Recently, some rumors came about Kyle Kuzma potentially wanting a bigger role.

It is entirely possible that if Kyle Kuzma went somewhere else, he'd be able to shine in a role that features him more in the offense. While winning with the Los Angeles Lakers was good, perhaps Kuzma needs a fresh start on a team that can showcase his abilities. This offseason will be pivotal for both the Lakers and Kuzma, and perhaps we'll see him somewhere new.
