The Houston Rockets are fast approaching the NBA trade deadline just over a month away.

The team has a few needs, and 3-point shooting is certainly one of them. Bleacher Report offers a helping hand to the Rockets by suggesting Washington Wizards guard Corey Kispert as a potential trade target.

"Kispert probably isn't someone the Wizards are trying to move, but with the size and scope of rebuilding project they're facing, they're unlucky to deem a 24-year-old role player off-limits," Bleacher Report writes. "He could be the three-point splasher Space City needs."

Kispert addresses a big need if the Rockets were to acquire him in a trade. And with him only being 24 years old, it wouldn't just be the Rockets adding a veteran piece for the second half of the season. Houston could be adding a young player who can improve one of the best young cores in basketball for the long haul and open up the offense whenever he's on the court.

Kispert, 24, is averaging 11.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game for Washington. He has also shot just under 38 percent from the 3-point line and is averaging 5.4 attempts from beyond the arc per game. He shot 42.4 percent from three last season and is shooting 38.8 percent for his career.

Insert him into the bench lineup next to rookie Amen Thompson and Tari Eason and that could be one of the league's most legitimate second units.
