Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo. Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

After being humiliated by the Indiana Pacers in the semifinal of the NBA in-season tournament in Las Vegas, the Milwaukee Bucks needed to get some revenge to restore their pride.

Enter: Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Giannis knew what he needed to do. This resulted in the former back-to-back Most Valuable Player going off for a career-high 64 points on the evening.

Antetokounmpo went 20-of-28 from the field and 24-of-32 from the free-throw line en route to scoring the most points he’s ever had in a single game. He capped off his mind-blowing performance with 14 rebounds, three assists, four steals, and a block in 37 minutes of action.

Giannis actually cracked the top 100 of the NBA’s all-time scoring list in the first quarter of the game, and you just knew that this was going to be a special night.

It’s not every day that Giannis explodes like he did against the Pacers on Wednesday night. We’ve all gotten used to the typical 30-point performance from the seven-time All-Star, but the fact that he more than doubled that is certainly headline-grabbing news.

Just ask the mean streets of X:

It’s not really surprising that virtually every NBA account had something to say about Antetokounmpo’s wild outing.

Congratulations are in order to the Greek Freak. What. A. Performance.
