As a franchise littered with rich history, the Los Angeles Lakers have so many stories to tell, that it can be hard to keep track.

This is why, starting tomorrow, the streaming platform Disney+ is set to release a brand new docuseries title titled Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers.' It apparently follows the team after the late Jerry Buss took over as owner.

Basketball fans can enjoy some brand new content this August 15, when the worldwide release of 'Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers' will take place. It is a 10-episode docuseries that starts with the moment when Jerry Buss takes over the team and it tells the story of how he turned it into one of the most successful sports franchises of all time.

Disney+ is in charge of bringing to our homes a documentary that promises very strong emotions, mainly for Lakers fans, but also for anyone who wants to know more about one of the greatest sporting miracles in history.

Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the docuseries is a journey with exclusive access to the Buss family through the last 40 years of the Lakers, precisely their most successful period, when they became one of the most profitable franchises in sport.

The Lakers have been one of the most successful franchises in sports, and that's (in large part) due to the Buss family, who pretty much transformed the Lakers from a regular basketball team to an iconic brand that appeals to fans and players everywhere.

It will be cool to see how Buss helped lead an era of prosperity for his team and how the guys in charge were able to keep things so good for so long.

The series officially releases tomorrow, August 15th, and there is a pretty high level of excitement for its release.
