Nikola Jokic is only 28 years old, but he's somehow always finding new ways to make history - even when it doesn't seem like there's history to be made.

On Thursday night against the Brooklyn Nets, Jokic became the first player in NBA history to have 10 or more triple-doubles in seven consecutive seasons. The list was previously held by Oscar Robinson, with six triple-doubles.

Just a week ago, it seemed like the Denver Nuggets had lost their edge. They had lost three straight games to the Sacramento Kings, LA Clippers, and Houston Rockets. Fast forward to this week, and they're not on a three-game winning streak against the Atlanta Hawks, Chicago Bulls, and Brooklyn Nets - that's how quickly momentum can change in the NBA.

For all of the struggling Jokic had last week, it really didn't matter in the grand scheme of things. This season, Nikola Jokic is averaging 27.2 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 9.4 assists on 54/30/78 shooting. He's almost on track to be averaging a triple-double, while also leading the Denver Nuggets the 2nd seed. In fact, the Denver Nuggets are only 2.5 games away from being the 1st seed.

Up next for the Denver Nuggets is a game against the 3rd seeded at 9:00 p.m. EST. It's a game that could possibly have major playoff implications and seeding consequences.
