Patrick Beverley traded again, heads to Timberwolves

Patrick Beverley is on the move yet again, this time going to the Minnesota Timberwolves, ESPN reported on Tuesday via insider Adrian Wojnarowski.

The former Los Angeles Clipper was traded, along with Rajon Rondo, to the Memphis Grizzlies for Eric Bledsoe on Sunday. Now, he's being flipped from Memphis in exchange for Jarrett Culver and Juancho Hernangomez.

Wojnarowski shed some light on why the most recent trade went down in a series of tweets:

All that said, it's hard not to notice that Beverley has gone from a playoff team to one that was among the worst  teams in the Western Conference last season.

Beverley spent four seasons with the Clippers, averaging 7.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists during his 2020-21 campaign. He has averaged 8.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists over his nine-season career.
