Paul Pierce won't let his teammates wear LeBron sneakers

Future Hall of Famer Paul Pierce is already making his presence known with his new Los Angeles Clippers teammates.

According to Complex , the newly acquired Pierce has already let his new teammates in Los Angeles know that wearing a pair LeBron James sneakers won't be tolerated. This "anti-LeBron sneaker" policy is nothing new from Pierce, as the former Boston Celtics great instituted the same rule with the Washington Wizards the previous year.

Pierce, whose Celtics were eliminated from the postseason by LeBron-lead teams in 2008 and 2010, clearly does not have a short memory.

Pierce will be 38 years old when the NBA seasons begins, and has stated if the Clippers win it all, he'll step away from basketball for good. That said, even if the Clippers fail to win this year's NBA championship, there's a good chance this could be his final season regardless.
