Phoenix Suns will honor Steve Nash with custom socks

by Mark Fishman

What better way to honor the greatest player in the history of your franchise than by putting an image of him on all your socks. Wait, what?

When the Phoenix Suns induct former NBA point guard savant Steve Nash into their Ring of Honor Friday night, they will also be debuting custom socks that have Nash's image on them. In fact, the whole Suns team will don the socks for Fridays game against the Trailblazers:

Nash played with the Suns for nine seasons, won two MVP awards with the team, and lead them to several deep playoff runs. Nash retired from the NBA in March of this year.

As for the socks, the Suns organization has been able to make this unique creation through the NBA's new partnership with Stance Socks; a company that specializes in creating unique sock designs.

Love them or hate them, you certainly can't call the Phoenix Suns organization unoriginal for pulling this feat off.
