The Detroit Pistons are acquiring guard/forward Danuel House and a 2024 second-round draft pick from the Philadelphia 76ers, per NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The pick will arrive via the New York Knicks, Wojnarowski added.

Earlier in the day, the Sixers had agreed to another trade, landing shooting guard Buddy Hield from the Indiana Pacers, as we relayed here.

Philadelphia (30-20) has lost eight of nine, with center Joel Embiid expected to miss another month or more following knee surgery. The 76ers have dropped to fifth place in the Eastern Conference.

Detroit (7-43) sports the NBA’s worst record and is looking to shake things up this offseason.

“The move gives the Sixers the salary cap cushion to sign buyout players post-deadline — including the possibility of Charlotte’s Kyle Lowry should he become available in a contract buyout,” Wojnarowski wrote, citing sources.

House, 30, is averaging 4.2 points and 1.7 rebounds, shooting 45 percent from the field and 30 percent on 3-pointers. He has an expiring contract worth just more than $4 million.

Along with the Sixers, House has spent time with the Washington Wizards, Houston Rockets, New York Knicks and Utah Jazz.

It was not revealed what the Pistons are receiving in return for House. We will update this story as the news becomes available.
