Jordan Ford is coming off a year where he played for the Stockton Kings (G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings).

Ford averaged 14.7 points, 2.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field and 40.1% from the three-point range in 32 regular season games (he also appeared in 18 Showcase Cup games and one G League playoff game).

On Friday, the Kings announced that they had converted Ford's contract to a two-deal.

Via The Kings: "The Sacramento Kings announced today that the team has converted guard Jordan Ford to a two-way contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed."

Ford played four seasons of college basketball for Saint Mary's and went undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft.

He has yet to make his NBA debut but has played each of the last three seasons in the G League.

His career averages are 12.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists per contest while shooting 48.1% from the field and 41.3% from the three-point range in 78 regular season games.

As for the Kings, they are coming off a fantastic year where they were the third seed in the Western Conference with a 48-34 record.

The franchise made the NBA playoffs for the first time since the 2006 season.

Despite losing to Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the playoffs, the Kings will be seen as one of the best teams in the west going into the 2023-24 season.
